Re:LIFE Inc invites you to attend its year-end event where it will unveil its 2013 Top Young Entrepreneurs. These seven low income/at risk youth, all between the ages of 17 and 24, participated in an intensive project-based 15-week entrepreneurship program to create their businesses. The URBN Youth Start-Ups (UYS) program introduced participants to the rigor and benefits of entrepreneurship, while giving them the opportunity to give back to their communities; participants benefited from mentoring, developed their research and development skills, improved their problem solving skills and engaged in community service.
This event will showcase the youths of UYS and their unique businesses. Some of the start-up ventures include an online based lacrosse equipment repairs and customization service, a therapeutic arts program for abused and depressed youths and an educational program that uses hieroglyphics to ignite early learning and development in children. Participants will also present their crowd-funding campaigns which they will use to raise funds to start their businesses.
This event is FREE and all are welcome, but please feel free to support us with your Giving Here. We especially encourage entrepreneurs and businesses to attend.
Come out and support these young entrepreneurs as they begin their journeys to becoming tomorrow’s business leaders.
Our Guest Speaker is Ambassador Alice Dear. Read more about her here.
